Competitions
The competitions programme is at the heart of Young Farmers and is enjoyed by virtually all of the Worcestershire Young Farmers members. Together with the valuable experience gained managing and running their own clubs, the competitions programme helps club members strengthen their community involvement and develop leadership qualities.
Competitions are a brilliant motivator for club members to have a go at something new and broaden their experience, clubs compete against each other through the year at either sports, public speaking, stockjudging or the County Show where an array of competitons are showcased.
The programme constantly evolves to equip members with knowledge and abilities that are relevant to their lives and careers, and promote good citizenship.
Besides giving recognition for taking part, promoting the spirit of competition and polishing personal skills, YFC competitions are also just great fun!
